Thomas Nowakowski - Shapes of Balance

I invite you to Tai Chi Shapes of Balance workshops in London.

Practising Tai Chi is the perfect way to stay balanced. It can help you:
develop perception and proprioception
refine breathing quality,
reduce stress,
build cardio-vascular fitness,
enhance your flexibility,
strengthen and tone,
develop mind-body coordination, relaxation and concentration.

We practise Tai Chi San Feng style, which is a relatively unknown, unique style from southern China. The basic practice of this style consists of two forms: Father form and Mother form. Our sessions begin with Father form, which is divided into two parts. The first is called The Nine Small Heavens, which works all body joints; the second is called The Nine Palaces, which deals with breath, balance and the principles of rooting.

In addition, classes and workshops can focus on some of the following topics:
- Nei gong - based on principles of Tai Chi internal work in forms.
- Study and comparison of 13 Basic Forms Tai Chi (The Earth form from Yang Style and Mother form from San Feng Style) and other foundation forms of our style.
- Tai Chi practical applications.
- Tuishou - Push Hands, Sensitive Hands. Timing, balance of structure and movement awareness in forms and practice with partner.

Our classes and workshops are suitable for beginners as well as more experienced students.

See you soon,
